What is the average time it takes for a application to be reviewed by the Amazon AppStore?
(small, non-controversial, quality application, popular on the Android Market)
I know it is variable, so rough figures (3 days? 3 weeks? 3 months?) of minimum/maximum would be extremely helpful, I am just looking for some real-world examples.
It's not instant. About two hours after approval, it transitioned to "Live" (I never got an email about that transition), but it couldn't be found in the appstore. About 6 hours after approval, it was visible.
Review status On average, 90% of submissions are reviewed in less than 24 hours. You'll be notified by email of status changes. You can also check the review status of your submission in the My Apps section of App Store Connect or on the App Store Connect app for iPhone and iPad.
Google subsequently changed their Developer Distribution Agreement on September 25. As a result, we removed the app from Google Play and published the Amazon Shopping app.”
Clear the Amazon app's cache If the cache becomes corrupted, you might need to clear it in order for the app to work properly again. The only way to clear an iPhone app's cache is to uninstall the app and then reinstall it from the App Store.
Submitted a free app on the day the Appstore launched (3/23). Two weeks later to the day (4/5) it was approved. Figured it would take longer since they'd be saturated right after launch, but 2 weeks doesn't seem that bad. Now just waiting for it to go live.
