One of my previous builds had a problem that made it through to the Apple Review, which resulted in a banner at the top of the app saying
There are one or more issues with the following platform(s):
1 unresolved iOS issue
The issue was fixed, a new build was submitted, reviewed, approved and released - yet the banner persists.
How can I make this erroneous and confusing banner go away?
The answer is that you Mouse over the icon for your build and at the end of the line you'll see a little colored minus in a circle. This removes the build and you can now click on the + sign and choose a new build for submitting.
Log into your App Store Connect account at https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/. Go to "My Apps" and click into the app you're looking to take down. Go to the Pricing and Availability tab. Under Availability > Choose "Remove From Sale" > Save.
Sign in to App Store Connect, then select the app to view. In the sidebar, select App Privacy. In the Getting Started dialog that appears, indicate whether you collect data in the app. Naturally, if the answer is “no,” then there's nothing more to do.
In the "Testflight" tab, under "Builds" click the rejected build(s) and then the "Expire build" button on the top right.
