I've been looking for half an hour over all the options several times but I can't find it; googling also fails me at the moment. This is on Netbeans 6.0.1

How do I remove black highlights in NetBeans?

This black color bar comes from the Fixable Error of Annotations . So just changing the background of this Fixable Error category from dark color to any color will do the work. (Have to close and re-open the code editor to see the change) . Here I changed to white background, and it's gone.
