I recently came across this website: http://studiostyles.info, which contains a list of color schemes that people have already created.
However, I can't find instructions on how to import them into Visual Studio 2010, does anyone know how?
PS: I am sorry, if this question has been asked but I cannot find an answer, through search.
Thanks Robert, this whole process was confusing here is the exact way to get to it:
Tools / Import and Export Settings / Import selected environment settings
/ Next / No, just import new settings, overwriting my current settings
/ Next / Browse
The easiest way to install a Visual Studio theme is to navigate over to the Extensions option in the menu bar and select Manage Extensions. The next step is to select Visual Studio Marketplace under Online on the left panel. Once done, search for the theme you want and select it in the search results.
Navigate to Tools – Options – Environment – Import / Export Settings. you can export your existing settings and save. Next time if you want your settings to be applied to Visual Studio you just need to have your exported settings file, you can then just import the settings file. And your settings will be there.
On the menu bar, select Tools > Options. In the options list, select Environment > General. In the Color theme list, choose between the default Dark theme, the Blue theme, the Blue (Extra Contrast) theme, and the Light theme. Or, choose the Use system setting option to select the theme that Windows uses.
From the menu bar:
