I have a Trac project installed on top of a Subversion implementation (easy to do thanks to Webfaction's control panel), but now I have configuration work to do. With that in mind, are there easy ways to do the following in Trac:
1) Ensure that customers can only see a high level progress indicator.
2) Give daily summary reports on tickets, testing, and tasks.
Also, I am interested in knowing if there are any highly recommended plugins that I would be sorry I forgot to install.
A TRAC lease, or terminal rental clause agreement lease, is a motor vehicle and trailer lease that allows adjustments to payment terms, lengths, and residuals while the lease is active.
Description: In a capital lease, the lessor transfers the ownership rights of the asset to the lessee at the end of the lease term. The lease agreement gives the lessee a bargain option by dint of which the lessee can buy the asset at a discounted price than the fair market value at the end of the lease term.
With a synthetic lease, the special purpose entity treats the lease as a capital lease for tax purposes and charges depreciation expense against its earnings. Essentially, the synthetic lease allows a company to lease an asset to itself. However, the asset does not show up on the balance sheet of the parent company.
Operating leases require lease expenses to be recognized on a straight-line basis over the lease term, whereas finance leases (just like capital leases) require the lessee to recognize interest expense and amortization expense, which means expenses will be higher at the beginning of the lease and decrease over time.
I would not recommend using the same Trac project for tracking development tasks and showing the customer progress. You want to be able to be candid with your development tickets, comments, etc. Customers can focus on the wrong things and misinterpret data you put in the tickets. I would recommend providing the customer with a separate project that contains high level tasks and only shows the progress on those tasks, not the nitty gritty.
