Has anyone ever created a shopping cart on the Expression Engine? [closed]

Well I'm building a site for a client on the Expression Engine CMS and just wondering if anyone had any experience building a shopping cart on it, either custom or via a plug in.

There are now three excellent shopping carts for Expression Engine that one can choose from.

Exp:presso Store

CartThrob

Brilliant Retail

The one I've used is CartThrob and I found it to be quite easy to use and the support is excellent as well. Exp:presso Store also put together an excellent comparison chart on April 30, 2012 - not sure if it's been updated since then though.

Expression Engine comes with the Simple Commerce Module that should satisfy the most common needs for a shopping cart. It utilizes the Paypal IPN service.

Also check out Mark Bowen's Shopping Cart plugin, which works with EE's Simple Commerce Module and provides extra functionality.

I used Foxee with Expression Engine and Foxycart on this site: http://prints995.com and it worked pretty well. The latest version of FoxEE is pretty good.

I have used CartThrob on a production web site (http://cartthrob.com/). It is very customisable - I added a PayPal Payments Pro UK payment gateway and a fully AJAX cart. The site for reference was http://two-zero.co.uk.
