Gson: NoSuchMethodException for Android 4.2.2 devices

Question

I am getting a strange issue/exception NoSuchMethodException for JellyBean (4.2.2) devices on my production version. Attached the screenshot of stack trace.

Here is my version of Gson:

I am getting this error every-time I try to call gson.fromJson or gson.toJson.

We had problem like this. Try to use JarJar Tool https://github.com/pantsbuild/jarjar and repack code from com.google.code.gson package to com.google.code.gsonlocal for example. Sometime manufacturers include some popular libs in his OS builds and in runtime developers get problems. Repack was only way to solve this problem.
