Google Chrome Extension Store tester accounts-but how?

I uploaded the extension to the store, and added email address for tester accounts. I published the extension to the testers. Now what will happen? I thought Google would send them invitation mails but clearly this is not the case.

ALso, how many tester accounts can we add?

Are Chrome extensions linked to account?

When you turn on Google Chrome browser sync, then all your chrome extensions will be automatically installed on all your devices. Also, the settings and state for all these extensions will be the same on all your devices.

How do I find hidden Google extensions?

Retrieve Hidden Extensions in Chrome Right click on the extension icon that you want to show and click on 'Show in toolbar. ' The icon should now be seen in the toolbar.

I had the same problem (testers not being automatically notified) and found a solution/work-around:

  1. Have each of your testers Sign In to https://chrome.google.com/webstore
  2. Give them the direct link to your extension (i.e. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/your-long-extension-ID-goes-here)
