Looking for books, blogs, web sites or videos.
At the moment I am getting a lot of value from the blogs of Udi Dahan and Greg Young, but I was wondering if there are any other experts out there worth listening to?
Event-driven architectures have three key components: event producers, event routers, and event consumers. A producer publishes an event to the router, which filters and pushes the events to consumers.
Kafka provides a scalable hybrid approach that incorporates both Processing and Messaging. Another advantage of using Kafka Event Driven Architecture is that, unlike messaging-oriented systems, events published in Kafka are not removed as soon as they are consumed.
There are three general styles of event processing: simple, stream, and complex. The three styles are often used together in a mature event-driven architecture.
