I'm am attempting to send a Game Center invitation. Sending from the simulator to a device or from a device to the simulator results in an InviteFailed error.
What might be the problem? Incorrect implementation? Low Internet speed? Or is it not possible to test Game Center invites with the simulator?
Thanks
Go to Settings > Game Center > Sign out and sign back in. If it continues, try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network or try from cell network. You can find additional details in. For the issue with Wallet and if you're still unable to connect to Game Center, reach out to Apple directly.
Click your Game Center ID. Click Add Friends. Enter the phone number or email of the person that you want to invite to be friends in Game Center, or click the Add button to invite one of your contacts. Once that person accepts the request through the Messages app, you'll be able to see them on your list of friends.
FOR ALL iOS 10+ USERS: You can sign in and access Game Center details within iOS Settings: Once in Settings scroll down to the section that says "Game Center" and tap on it: If this is your first time accessing Game Center or you have previously signed out, tap on "Sign In", and sign in with your existing Apple ID.
Game Center uses the Apple ID that's linked to your iPhone or iPad by default. Since Game Center accounts are tied to Apple accounts, you may have been under the notion that you cannot use a different account unless you completely sign out of your device.
As far as I am aware you cannot test multiplayer in the simulator. You will need two devices.
