At the moment, I need to ignore a string concatenation warning relative to internationalization, but would like to "learn how to fish" for other specialized warnings in the future.

Run lint using the standalone tool You can then locate the lint tool at android_sdk /cmdline-tools/ version /bin/lint . For example, you can issue the following command to scan the files under the myproject directory and its subdirectories.
SuppressLint(vararg value: String) Indicates that Lint should ignore the specified warnings for the annotated element.
@SuppressLint("NewApi") Just invoke the quickfix for the warning, and one of the options will be to ignore the issue with an annotation; this will annotate either the local declaration, or the method, or the class, or the field, depending on the location of the error.
To utilize Lint or just run inspections in your project, add Lint inspection to the lint. xml file or manually pick the list of issues to be configured by Lint in your project using Android Studio. Configure the lint file: Add the list of issues to be configured in the lint.
