I have a ppt with a font embedded. The thing is that I want to create a word file...therefore I need the font that is inside the ppt.
Does anybody know how to extract it?
Thanks
To remove embedded fonts follow these steps: In PowerPoint (or Word) click on the File tab and select Options. In the Preserve fidelity when sharing this presentation section disable the Embed fonts in the file check box. Click OK and then save your file, which will immediately remove the fonts from your presentation.
Embed fonts in Word or PowerPoint Click the File tab and then click Options (it's near the bottom left corner of the window). In the left column, select the Save tab. At the bottom, under Preserve fidelity when sharing this presentation, select the Embed fonts in the file check box.
If all PowerPoint text is in placeholders, please choose File>Export and choose Rich /text Format (. rtf). You can then save the RTF as plain text in TextEdit. If you have text in text boxes as well as in placeholders, then export as PDF.
Found it! Save it as PDF. Then use Mutool to get it:
c:\> mutool.exe extract filename.pdf # (on Windows)
$> mutool extract filename.pdf # (on Linux, Unix, Mac OS X)
