Explicit backing field not working in latest kotlin 2.0.0 android

Question

I am using Kotlin 2.0.0. I was trying in my current android project. I was trying from this video.

Answer 1

After migrating to Kotlin 2.0 and upgrading Android Studio to Ladybug+:

1. Settings -> Languages & Frameworks -> Kotlin: Check the "Enable K2 Kotlin Mode" Android Studio settings
2. You can now use Kotlin 2 features, but for some features like explicit backing fields, you need to add this to the Android project's Gradle file.
