Eclipse is showing 'Tomcat port is not valid'. Why?

Question

I'm using Eclipse 2019-03 and Apache Tomcat version 8.5.45.

I have added the server in the eclipse.

After running the server, It is giving me an error like this below :

I have checked the server.xml:

I found that the port number of server.xml was set to 8089. So, when I ran tomcat alone, I was connected to localhost:8089. The problem still existed. For that I also checked if port 8089 is in use, but it wasn't.

So, what can be the problem ?

Change the connector port from 8089 to 8080.

Just copy and replace the existing xml.

Note : If this is not working, then, download the Apache Tomcat server from official site. Try again after downloading.
