1) Set the scrolling attribute of the iframe to no (scrolling="no"). This will disable both horizontal and vertical scroll bars. 2) Set the width attribute of the iframe to 200% (width="200%").
A simpler way is however, is to use a container div styled with overflow: hidden; to hide the scrollbar. Set the width and the height of the div, to be slightly less than that of your iframe. Hope this helps you.
To hide the horizontal scrollbar and prevent horizontal scrolling, use overflow-x: hidden: HTML. CSS.
A quick fix is to add overflow: hidden to the CSS for your #footer . Note: A scrollbar will still appear if your #body content flows out of the the viewport. Show activity on this post. It will remove unnecessary scroll bars.
I have an iframe. The content is wider than the width I am setting so the iframe gets a horizontal scroll bar. I can't increase the width of the iframe so I want to just remove the scroll bar. I tried setting the scroll property to "no" but that kills both scroll bars and I want the vertical one. I tried setting overflow-x to "hidden" and that killed the horizontal scroll bar in ff but not in IE. sad for me.
