Some months ago I found a project-management / time-estimation software that would ask you to sort out your tasks in terms of difficulty (1, 2 or 3) and would then estimate the time you would take to deploy.
The system would auto-adapt as you were working.
I've forgot the software name. For the past days I've been digging emails and searching Google with no results.
Can anyone pin the software name by my description?
Its not http://www.fogcreek.com (though I've found it to be a great piece of software.

As software systems become more complex, their development life cycles become more complicated. In addition, they often increase in size, making it difficult to estimate software development time. The ability to accurately predict the time and delivery of a task is proportional to its size.
Lack of experience - the less experienced developers are with a specific type of project and tech, the harder it will be for them to set realistic estimations. This is where assumptions enter the game and create problems.
An increase in scale of components means that there are many more permutations to “break the plan”. Unknowns caused by novelty (of language, architecture, business scenario), optimism bias and inexperience are factors that indeterminately and (to users) opaquely affect the accuracy of estimates.
A newly proposed product or project will be similar (in size) to one or more already completed products or projects. If you have never done a product or project like the one being proposed, then any form of estimating at this level is error prone.
