Since the last week I'm running into a weird issue related to Chrome version 54.0.2840.71 on OSX. Somehow after updating the CSS the new styles are not loading after refreshing the page.
Styles are not loaded either after a hard refresh (CMD+Shift+R) of when browsing in incognito modus.
This doesn't happen in Firefox or Safari. Anyone else having the same issue or know how to fix this?
If you are adding/modifying in-line CSS or JavaScript and not seeing the changes reflected in the HTML source, the page is likely being cached. The solution may be to purge the WordPress object cache, which stores our page caching (Batcache) renders.
Try a different network. If your internet connection fails to load all of the resources on a website, CSS may not work in Chrome or any other browser. So, you can try to use a VPN or a different network to check if everything is OK or not.
For Windows in Chrome or Edge, the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F5 (or Ctrl + Reload) refreshes. For Mac, hold Cmd-Shift-R or Shift-Reload. Most browsers also have a refresh button next to the URL.
All you have to do is to perform a hard or force-reload or empty the local cache if necessary. If you're using Chrome, you can force reload by pressing the F12 key to open the console. Then, right-click the reload button to access the menu containing the options for reloading.
This may help. Open dev tools in browser then right click on refresh button of chrome. A menu will open. Select empty cache and hard reload.
If this is also not working then quit browser and try after relaunching.
Also look at chrome://appcache-internals/ for your page if there are some caches just delete those caches related to your page.
