Is it possible to create a custom file upload to prevent chrome's unable to complete previous operation due to low memory
error"?
It works perfectly on the desktop version of chrome. Actually I use an input type="file" control and I got this error on Chrome mobile browser:
Update Chrome to the Latest VersionA system bug can cause an out-of-memory error in your browser. You can't fix these bugs by yourself, but you can update the browser to possibly resolve your issues. An update usually brings several bug fixes, making your browser run efficiently.
You may have been trying to use your phone, but you got an error message that said, “Unable to complete the previous operation due to low memory.” If you're getting this message, it's probably because your phone is running out of memory. You'll need to clear the data and cache from your mobile to fix this issue.
You may have to restart the upload, and the best way to do that is to restart the Google Drive app. To do this on Android, go to “Settings -> Apps & notifications -> See all apps.” Find Drive in the list, tap “Force Stop,” then try your upload again.
We understand that you are experiencing out-of-memory crashes in Chrome 103 and are looking for a way to increase the memory limit in Chrome 104. Unfortunately, there is no way to increase the memory limit in Chrome 104. We recommend that you try using a different browser or downgrade to Chrome 103.
One answer I found was to go into developer tools from your settings menu. Scroll the bottom and make sure that "Don't keep activities " is turned OFF. many people in other forums said that solved the problem for them, but when I did it, it made absolutely no difference at all. You can give it a try.
