As i was looking to split a tutorial video file(.wmv
) with this amazing tool called Asfbin, looked every settings in media player but in vain couldn't find one...
Is there a way to set windows media player to display the time with milliseconds
along with hour:minute:seconds
?
my current media player ver: 12.0.7601.17514 running on Win 7
View Milliseconds in VLC Media Player Using the Time Extension. Show Milliseconds in Video or Audio Timing in VLC Media Player Using the Time Extension. Milliseconds might be required to get a specify or specified part of an audio or video file. It is also used while creating subtitles or editing a video or audio.
Use the menu is under VLC -> Extensions -> Jump to time (Previous frame) to open the dialog below depicted. [Note: older VLC placed the extension under the View menu.] The Jump to time (Previous frame) Get time >> button updates to show HH:MM:SS,mmm .
Although I haven't been able to test the new app yet, it's a clear visual improvement over Microsoft's previous apps, more in line with Windows 11's Fluent design language. By the way, the old Windows Media Player isn't completely going away just yet — it'll just be tucked away under Windows Tools.
Use media Player Classics! You can make a right click on the Position label and then click on "high precision"
So you can see the position in millisecond without clicking CTRL+G every time.
