I have signed up for TypeKit subscription and have added and published a font in my kit and pasted the javascript link in my HTML head.
It asked for my domain name. But is it possible to make it work locally on my computer?
Can I use the fonts for commercial projects or client work? Yes. You can create digital designs or print work for your own use or for client projects. This includes generating a PDF, EPS file, or bitmapped file such as a JPEG or PNG.
In order to activate fonts, you have to be signed in to the Creative Cloud desktop application with a named-user Creative Cloud subscription. It isn't possible to activate fonts with a device or site-wide Creative Cloud license. As of Fall 2022, Adobe offers three different access levels for Adobe Fonts.
Adobe Fonts is a Creative Cloud service, but did you know that you can also use the fonts in other software like Microsoft Office and Keynote? They'll appear in your font menus just like the fonts you have installed on your computer, so you can make the most of your Creative Cloud subscription.
Typekit allows you to sync fonts to many applications, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Office, and many more. You can use synced fonts to print designs, website mockups, word processing documents, etc.
Will answer my own question. Found out on their site
"Using Typekit while developing locally You can specify up to ten domains in your Kit Editor’s Kit Settings, including development domains, subdomains, and “localhost” if you're running a web server on your own machine. Typekit will not work on pages that you open from your file system (file://); this is because Typekit requires a referrer, which a local file system cannot send."
