I am looking for a simple, easy to use, effective todo list management.
It will be better if I can link to my code where to make that todo change.
Is there any open source solution for that?

Trello is one of the leading Todoist alternatives as a task management app. Collaborate anytime/anywhere and organize any task with anyone using this platform. Based on the kanban board, Trello can easily be used for personal productivity or in teams.
User Interface of the TickTick is very simple ,it is straight forward to add profiles ,add task , and see tasks . Todoist UI is little cumbersome for me ,it has project then profile and task ,I know it is powerful but is feels bloated and not simple at all .
With Microsoft To Do you can easily create and sync your task lists across multiple devices so you have your to do list available whether you are on your desktop, phone, or tablet.
There are some options depending on the platform you use. For Eclipse there is the Mylyn Project
Robert Munteanu contribution: Check out this blog for a gentle intro. Also, using Mylyn allows you to migrate your tasks to real back-end when you're ready, like Bugzilla, Trac, Mantis, etc.
