I recently started using TexnicCenter after using winshell for several years. The spell check in Texniccenter has to be invoked manually which is tedious. Is there a way to enable inline or automatic spell check in Texnicceneter?

All set, you only have to start the spell/grammar-check-session using command :LanguageToolCheck and end the session using :LanguageToolReset .
Yes, you can change the spell check dictionary language to your preference (e.g. Spanish) for a particular document via the project settings menu — simply open the main project menu from the top left hand corner of the editor, and choose the spell check language from the dropdown.
Texworks windows config to add spell check. File>Edit>Preferences>Editor>Spell-check language.
I found how to do it.
In menu Tools->Options->Spelling, check the box "Check spelling while typing"
