After upgrading to android studio 3.0 the debug apk is saying App not istalled.
The package appears to be corrupted
You cannot install an unsigned application on a phone. You can only use it to test with an emulator. If you still want to go ahead, you can try self-signing the application. Also, since you are installing the application from an SD card, I hope you have the necessary permissions set.
The Android app not installed error can be combated after resetting app permissions. Go to Settings > Apps > Reset App Preferences/Reset Application Permissions. After this, third-party software can be installed on your device.
It is not possible to publish unsigned APK on Google Play. 5) Generate new signed APK using keyStore file provided by your developer 6) after generating new signed APK, you can update your existing google play application by new APK.
Looks like we can not directly use the apk after running on the device from the build->output->apk folder.
After upgrading to android studio 3.0 you need to go to Build -> Build Apk(s) then copy the apk from build -> output -> apk -> debug

Fist Click On Build Icon on android studio after that click Build APK(s) then Generate APK the copy Apk. It is working perfact.
