for the documentation of a project I would like to record the screen of my Nexus One as a movie or at least in form of a lot of images, which I can convert into a movie. Is that possible? Is there an app for it? For the moment I only know about this screen capture functions in the SDK's tool directory.
Click the Start Recording button or use the Win + Alt + R keyboard shortcut to capture your screen activity. Now perform whatever screen actions you want to capture.
With an Android phone, you can record, edit, and share videos while on the go. It's easy to learn how to record on Android, regardless of which Android phone you own. You can use your phone's built-in video recorder to create videos or download a third-party app with additional features.
Screen recorder is a new feature to allow you to make a screen recording video easily without having to download any external applications. You can start screen recording by tapping the icon in your Quick panel. After a 3 second countdown, your recording will start.
I've use two tools and both work well:
Do you need it from the device itself, or would from an emulator do? Here is a Nexus One Emulation Skin.
Here is information about the Dalvik Debug Monitor which claims to:
which provides port-forwarding services, screen capture on the device, thread and heap information on the device
(emphasis is mine) I am not an Android Developer, so I can't comment on the usefulness of the tool.
