Since upgrading to xcode 4, I can't find where to specify what Target a resource belongs to. Previously, I selected the file and hit command+i, but this now seems to run the program, rather than bring up the info box for that file.
I include them in the project by right-clicking on the project folder in the project view in Xcode, and selecting "Add Files to ...". I then navigate to the folder containing the source files, click on the folder and select "Add." With the options "Create folder references" and "Add to target [target name]".
Go to project's settings in the Project Navigator panel. Under the Targets sections, right click the existing target and select Duplicate to copy your existing target. 2. Xcode will ask you if your new target is for iPad development.
An project is a repository for all the files, resources, and information required to build one or more software products. A target specifies a product to build and contains the instructions for building the product from a set of files in a project or workspace.
Select the project file in the document explorer. On the Right margin of the Xcode window make sure to display the right drawer view if it isn't already there (it usually has Object library and Quick Help). In the top margin, click on the icon that looks like a document (rather than the one with the waves that is quick help). The target membership and the other info from the old Get Info command is there.
