Basic steps to solve Logical PuzzlesTake a quick look at the question. Develop a general idea regarding the theme of the problem. Select the data that is giving you some concrete information out of total information given. Also, select the data which helps in ruling out certain possibilities.
Stop 1: Problem (Define the problems in the case.) Stop 2: Cause of the Problem (Identify the OB concepts or theories to use to solve the problem.) Stop 3: Recommendation (Explain what you would do to correct the situation.)
Planning results in an outline of the logical steps required to obtain a solution. Step 1: Pin the Problem. Step 2: Identify the Issues. Step 3: Generate Hypotheses and Prioritize Proving Them.
What would be the approach to a kind of problem that sounds like this:
A says B lies
B says C lies
D says B lies
C says B lies
E says A and D lie
How many lie and how many tell the truth? I am not looking for the answer to the problem above, but the approach to this kind of problem. Thanks a lot.
