VS 2022 - How to prevent creating .gz files on publish

I'm facing a weird behavior in VS 2022, after publishing my ASP.NET MVC project to disk. The tool creates a lot of .gz files, for each related .js file.

Not to mention that it also creates many .js.br files.

I'm using the latest VS 2022 Community edition, v17.13.0.

How to prevent this weird behavior on publishing, please?

Option is called CompressionEnabled. Set it to false
