I am coming into DevOps as well (provisioning, scaling, etc). I am setting up cool CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes.

For all teams I join, I ensure they have neat documentation - clear, precise, vast and up to date. Because without documentation, your team will lose a couple of hours daily. Not worth it.
