I founded Spike@School, a school centric CMS. Initially written in PHP many many years ago (using the InterAKT framework), it's been written in Rails since around version 1.2. Re-written many times to take advantage of the ever increasing complexity and features of Rails. Currently I'm rewriting it in Rails 3.2 and am really looking forward to the speed increases!
