Show or hide AppBar and Toolbar - depending on the fragment

Question

I use one activity and few fragments. I want to hide toolbar only on splash screen. I wrote this:

If you are using the Navigation Component, toggle visibility in addOnDestinationChangedListener:

navController.addOnDestinationChangedListener { _, destination, _ ->
   if(destination.id == R.id.full_screen_destination) {
       toolbar.visibility = View.GONE
       bottomNavigationView.visibility = View.GONE
   } else {
       toolbar.visibility = View.VISIBLE
       bottomNavigationView.visibility = View.VISIBLE
   }
}
