Maui project for Android: type androidx.collection.ArrayMapKt is defined multiple times

I have a MAUI project and it was working. After the installation of the update of Visual Studio, I tried to build the project and now I get this error:

I have done a file search and I can't find any reference to the ArrayMapKt. The application is running without issue with Windows. All the NuGet packages are updated to the latest version and the framework is NET8.

How can I fix it?

Add Xamarin.AndroidX.Fragment.Ktx to your nuget packages.

I had the same issue with NuGet package BarcodeScanner.Mobile.Maui 8.0.0.1 and couldn't find the issue at all no matter what I searched google for.

In the end I installed version 8.0.0.0 of the same package and the error disappeared.
