Increase volume on multiple files [closed]

ffmpeg

Let say I have a couple of hundreds mp3 files. How do I increase volume in all of them with ffmpeg?

This is for single file:

ffmpeg -i input.mp3 -filter:a "volume=1.5" output.mp3

And what about multiple files with one command?

Just write a loop in whatever scripting language your shell uses to call ffmpeg for each file.

e.g. for bash:

mkdir louder
for f in *.mp3
do
  ffmpeg -i $f -filter:a "volume=1.5" louder/$f
done

or in Windows batch (untested):

FOR %%F IN (*.mp3) DO ffmpeg -i %%F -filter:a "volume=1.5" louder/%%F

And see https://ss64.com/nt/for2.html
