Gradle sync Error on Android Studio 3.1 Canary 3

Question

Hey fellows after update Android Studio to 3.1 Canary 3 I've just created fresh project but gradle synchronization failed due:

Same problem here. Uninstalling the Kotlin plugin (Preferences > Plugins > Kotlin > Uninstall) and using the version that comes with the IDE solved the problem for me.

open settings dialog, then select plugins & search for kotlin & uninstall it, restart the Android Studio and upgrade the Gradle if prompted.
